About The Position

The Database Engineer I assists in establishing and maintaining database management systems, standards, guidelines, and quality assurance for database deliverables. The role supports software environments, incident response, and problem-solving to meet the IT needs of the business. The position also contributes to database design and development, data management planning, security, routine maintenance, and documentation.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree.
Typically 0–2 years of experience.
Certification varies by business system.
Basic understanding of IT systems, software configuration, CI/CD, and business processes.
Familiarity with software environments and upgrades.

Nice To Haves

Experience with database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
Knowledge of database design principles and best practices.
