About The Position

We are seeking a Database Administrator (DBA) with an active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph, which is a strict requirement due to federal contract obligations. The ideal candidate must be a US Citizen and possess a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited institution. Alternatively, four years of additional DBA experience can substitute for the degree requirement. This role demands ten years of experience as a Database Admin on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity, with relevant experience spanning the entire engineering systems lifecycle, including conception, design, development, testing, production, distribution, deployment, operation, maintenance, support, and decommissioning. The DBA will be responsible for organizing and formatting data for efficient query and storage, providing server administration for various database products such as Oracle, SQL Server, and SYBASE, and developing policies and procedures to ensure database security and integrity. Direct installation of database management systems, databases, tables, and views is also a key responsibility. Linux experience is strongly preferred.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must have TS/SCI clearance w/ active polygraph (Polygraph should be in the last five (05) years)
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required
  • Four (04) years of additional DBA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
  • Must have ten (10) years of experience as a Database Admin in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required
  • Relevant experience must be in engineering systems over their lifecycle (for example, conception, design & development, testing, production, distribution/deployment, operation, maintenance & support, decommissioning)
