Database Administrator - Level 02 - FULLY CLEARED with POLYGRAPH REQUIRED
About The Position
The Database Administrator (DBA) is responsible for maintaining the integrity, security, and availability of multiple databases. This role involves disaster recovery, performance analysis and tuning, index maintenance, and data monitoring. The DBA will administer, maintain, develop, and implement policies and procedures for database security and integrity. They will also evaluate and recommend database management system (DBMS) products and perform database and software life-cycle activities to ensure optimal system performance, availability, and compliance with business requirements. This position requires administration of Oracle, SQL Server, and SYBASE Database and Application servers, and organizing data for efficient query and storage.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must have TS/SCI clearance w/ active polygraph (last polygraph must be within the last five (05) years)
- Must have Ten (10) years' experience as a DBA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline (i.e. Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc.) from an accredited college or university is required.
- Four (04) years of additional relevant experience on projects with similar processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

- Evaluates and recommend available database management system (DBMS) products.
- Performs database and software life-cycle activities to ensure highest level of system performance and availability and compliance with business requirements.
- Performs Oracle, SQL Server and SYBASE Database and Application server administration.
- Organizes and formats data for efficient query and storage processes.
- Candidate would be expected to be “On call†to support system operations.
