About The Position
As a Senior Data Scientist at Walmart, you will leverage advanced analytical techniques and machine learning to transform complex data into actionable business insights. Requirements
- Extensive experience in data science with strong proficiency in Python and SQL for code development and testing.
- Expertise in machine learning techniques including predictive modeling, model assessment, tuning, and validation.
- Solid knowledge of data visualization tools and best practices to effectively communicate complex data insights.
- Proven ability to identify and source relevant data, ensuring data quality and alignment with business requirements.
- Understanding of model deployment, scalability, and MLOps to support production environments.
- Strong analytical skills to translate business problems into data-driven solutions using advanced statistical methods.
- Experience mentoring junior associates and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver impactful results.
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and 3 years' experience in an analytics related field.
- Master’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and 1 years' experience in an analytics related field.
- 5 years' experience in an analytics or related field.
