About The Position

Concept Plus is seeking a Data Scientist/Oracle Integration Engineer to provide overall technical leadership and direction for all aspects of a client management capability. The role emphasizes enterprise data integration engineering over analytical or data science tasks, with a focus on reliable data movement across complex enterprise systems.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship.
• Bachelor’s degree in data science, information systems, computer science, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in data integration supporting federal IT programs.
• Secret clearance or higher is required.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree or Ph.D.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical lead for enterprise data integration efforts, emphasizing engineering excellence over analytical or data science tasks.
• Design, develop, and maintain reliable ETL/ELT pipelines and data exchange processes across complex enterprise systems.
• Build and optimize SQL-based data workflows, with a strong emphasis on relational databases, preferably Oracle.
• Implement and support data integration using XML/JSON, APIs, data mapping techniques, and data validation frameworks.
• Ensure data integrity and quality by validating transformations, monitoring data flows, and diagnosing discrepancies or interface failures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system-to-system data movement issues to ensure high availability and reliability of data exchanges.
• Understand authoritative data sources and how operational data moves, transforms, and is validated across the enterprise.
• Apply domain knowledge to ensure data integrations preserve operational meaning and intent.
• Prioritize proven hands-on integration engineering experience over specific tooling.
