Oracle Cloud Integration Engineer
About The Position
Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Developer to design, build, and operate enterprise integrations connecting Oracle Cloud Applications, on-premises Oracle systems, and third-party platforms. The role owns the full integration lifecycle, from analysis and design through development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing support. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with OIC integrations, processes, and Visual Builder applications, as well as knowledge of integration patterns, API management, and Oracle Cloud Applications data models. This is a full-time, direct W2 position that is 100% remote within the United States. The stated annual salary range is $100,000–$150,000. Candidates including U.S. citizens, Green Card holders, EAD holders, and H-1B transfer candidates are encouraged to apply; the company cannot sponsor new H-1B visa petitions for this position.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Five or more years of integration experience, including strong hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud.
- Solid experience with Oracle Cloud Applications (ERP, HCM, or CX) data models and APIs.
- Experience developing REST and SOAP web services.
- Working knowledge of Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) and Process Cloud Service.
- Familiarity with API management concepts and Oracle API Platform.
- Strong scripting skills in Groovy and JavaScript, and SQL skills.
- Experience with OAuth2, SAML, and mTLS security standards.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience migrating from Oracle SOA Suite to OIC.
- Oracle Cloud Platform Application Integration certification.
- Experience integrating with Oracle Autonomous Database.
- Familiarity with event-driven integration on OCI.
- Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD patterns for OIC content.
- Working knowledge of related platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, and SAP CPI.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop OIC integration flows connecting Oracle Cloud Applications (ERP, HCM, CX) with on-premises and third-party systems.
- Build app-driven and scheduled orchestrations, including complex mappings, error handling, and recovery flows.
- Configure and operate OIC adapters, including REST, SOAP, FTP, Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow, and custom adapters.
- Develop human-centric process automation flows using OIC Process Cloud Service.
- Build Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) applications integrated with OIC and Oracle Cloud Applications.
- Implement API management strategies, including security policies, throttling, and developer portals.
- Design error-handling and notification patterns, including retries, escalation, and resubmission workflows.
- Optimize high-volume integration performance through batching, parallelism, and asynchronous patterns.
- Migrate legacy Oracle SOA Suite or third-party integrations to OIC.
- Collaborate with Oracle Cloud Applications functional teams to align integrations with business processes.
- Provide hypercare and post-go-live support, including incident response and root-cause analysis.
- Maintain current technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design decisions, configuration references, runbooks, and operational procedures.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to internal integration patterns and standards.
