The Summer Games is a competitive, collaborative internship program that simulates a real-world startup accelerator. Interns work in teams on challenge projects aimed at developing breakthrough ideas or solutions to complex customer problems. Participants receive mentorship from senior leaders, build technical skills, use Booz Allen products and engagement models, and collaborate with teammates. The program concludes with a Challenge Cup competition and presentation to senior leadership. Projects in prior years have included technology to help blind individuals navigate and tools for tracking real-time and open-source information about developing situations. Applicants must be able to obtain a Secret clearance and be scheduled to earn a bachelor’s degree in a Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics field by Summer 2028 or Summer 2029. Selected applicants will undergo a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
