About The Position

The Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City is hiring a full-time Data Management Specialist for its Supervision and Regulation (S&R) Common Data Platform (CDP) and Common Exam Platform (CEP) programs. These multi-year initiatives are developing cloud-based platforms to modernize supervisory processes and data management. The position will initially serve as a dedicated business subject matter expert for supervisory data, helping ensure that data is reliable and consistent for business analytics, downstream decisions, review of supervisory findings, and future AI use cases. The role will strengthen supervisory data quality and support reliable business intelligence across S&R. The specialist will advance S&R’s data governance program and data management processes by developing expertise in S&R examination data. Over time, the role will also support broader data management initiatives, including the data catalog, data quality monitoring and remediation, data policy implementation, and access management. The position partners with S&R stakeholders, CDP, CEP, and System IT teams, and regularly communicates and presents information to a wide range of audiences, including S&R and System IT executive leadership. The role reports directly to the CDP Data Management Manager and administratively to a leader in the employee’s local S&R function. The posting describes a flexible hybrid model with office collaboration on most days and work from home on others, subject to the employing district’s current policies. However, the additional information also states that the selected candidate will work full-time onsite. The candidate must reside within a reasonable commuting distance, as defined by the employing Reserve Bank. Remote-only work is not eligible.
