About The Position

Bennington, a market-leading pontoon boat manufacturer and wholly owned subsidiary of Polaris Industries, is seeking a Data Entry Operator to update and maintain information in company databases and computer systems. The role collects and enters data and maintains accurate records of company information. It requires fast, accurate typing and familiarity with spreadsheets and online forms. The operator works with quality and production teams at various organizational levels. The job description notes that duties may include other related work assigned to meet the organization’s ongoing needs.

Requirements

High school diploma; additional computer training or certification is highly preferred.
Experience with MS Office and data programs.
Familiarity with administrative duties.
Experience using office equipment.
High typing speed and accuracy.
Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
Attention to detail.
Ability to maintain confidentiality where required.
Organizational skills and ability to stay focused on assigned tasks.

Nice To Haves

Previous data entry work experience is a plus.
Additional computer training or certification is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain production and quality data by entering text and numerical information from source documents into spreadsheets and online forms.
Compile, verify, and sort information by priority to prepare source data for computer entry.
Review data for deficiencies or errors.
Research and obtain additional information for incomplete documents.
Apply data program techniques and procedures.
Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations.
Scan documents and print files when needed.
Respond to information queries and access relevant files.
Comply with data integrity and security policies.
Use office equipment properly and address malfunctions.
