About The Position

The Data Entry Clerk works in the Recovery Center and closely with the Recovery Center Manager and staff to receive and post payments promptly, and to create and maintain collection records and account-status records. The role assists customers using advanced interpersonal skills and requires professionalism, patience, curiosity, and a results-oriented approach. The posting lists starting pay at $15 per hour.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to analyze relevant information and apply individual judgment.
Advanced interpersonal relationship skills across a variety of levels and social and business settings.
Ability to maintain confidential business and personal information.
Action- and results-focused approach.
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products.
Valid driver's license and ability to operate an automobile.

Responsibilities

Perform collections and recovery through personal contact with assigned customers.
Prepare and process documents for filing legal action through the court system.
Follow up with the court system on the progress of filed actions.
Resolve issues with the court system involving improperly filed documents.
Obtain contact information for use in collections and recovery efforts.
Perform a wide variety of clerical duties.
Assist branches with completing documents for legal action as needed.
Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of company and legal policies and procedures, and the Recovery program.
Adhere to and enforce compliance requirements, company policies and procedures, and state and federal regulations.
Maintain cash-drawer safeguards and accurate records and reports.
Receive and post payments in a timely manner and maintain collection and account-status records.
