About The Position
This role involves entering patient history and demographics into the RIS system, performing image transfers, and handling faxing and scanning. The position requires a reliable individual with computer knowledge and experience, who can work independently and cooperatively. A positive telephone demeanor is also important.
Requirements
- At least 1 year experience in medical data entry
- Familiar with EMR/EHR
- Self-starter who is organized, disciplined, goal-oriented with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a diverse group
- Positive telephone demeanor
- Must have computer knowledge and experience
- Must be reliable
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of the medical industry is encouraged
Responsibilities
- Enter patient history and demographics in RIS system
- Image transfer from Assured PACS to Radiologist workstation
- Faxing and scanning
- Perform other duties as assigned or deemed necessary by management
