This Data Entry & PCM Administrator position is a backfill opportunity within the Asbestos Laboratory in Mississauga, ON, reporting to the Laboratory Manager. The role combines hands-on laboratory support with precise data management, offering an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on accuracy and contributes to critical environmental work.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with LIMS or similar systems

  • Experience with PCM analysis and asbestos regulations is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative support, including reception duties and coordination between lab and field teams
  • Assist with inventory management and procurement of lab supplies
  • Prepare Certificate of Analysis revisions and email revised reports
  • Send afternoon reports to clients
  • Log in regular and rush samples
  • Support health and safety protocols within the lab environment
  • Implement and monitor QA/QC protocols, including participation in proficiency testing programs for PCM
  • Prepare and analyze asbestos air samples using PCM
