About The Position
AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I – Patient Care Management Hub (PCM) to support pharmacists by performing daily operational tasks at a Hub location. This role will service multiple P4H and AHF pharmacies within the region. The Pharmacy Technician I – PCM contributes to AHF by enriching the quality of patient care, improving patient satisfaction, and achieving positive health outcomes through personalized care. The ideal candidate will be a passionate advocate for AHF's initiatives and uphold the organization's Core Values and Mission. AHF operates in a dynamic and collaborative environment, and this role is part of a close-knit team dedicated to providing safe and efficient pharmaceutical services according to AHF pharmacy policies and Standards of Practice.
Requirements
- State Pharmacy License for location you are applying (if applicable)
- PTCB required
Responsibilities
- Performing data entry for patient information and medications while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Overseeing claim processing for third-party programs.
- Centralization of prior authorizations.
- Billing of clinical services.
- Delivery of quality customer service.
- Patient retention and re-engagement.
- Addressing patient adherence issues.
