About The Position

Pharmacy4Humanity, an AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) company, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician II – Patient Care Management Hub (PCM). This role supports pharmacists by performing daily operational tasks at a Hub location, servicing multiple P4H and AHF pharmacies regionally. The position focuses on data entry for patient information and medications, ensuring HIPAA compliance, managing third-party claim processing, centralizing prior authorizations, billing clinical services, providing customer service, patient retention and re-engagement, and addressing adherence issues. The Pharmacy Technician II – PCM aims to enhance AHF's reputation by improving patient care quality, satisfaction, and health outcomes through personalized care, acting as a passionate advocate for AHF's initiatives and upholding its Core Values and Mission. This role operates within a collaborative organizational structure and a close-knit team to ensure safe and efficient pharmaceutical service delivery according to AHF pharmacy policies and Standards of Practice.

Requirements

• State Pharmacy License for location you are applying (if applicable)
• One additional state license
• PTCB
• Tech Level II Exam

Responsibilities

• Performing daily operational tasks of AHF at a Hub location that will service multiple P4H and AHF pharmacies throughout the region.
• Performing data entry for patient information and medications while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Overseeing claim processing for third-party programs.
• Centralization of prior authorizations.
• Billing of clinical services.
• Delivery of quality customer service.
• Patient retention and re-engagement.
• Addressing any adherence issues.
• Providing safe and efficient delivery of pharmaceutical services of a Patient Care Management Hub according to AHF pharmacy policies and Standards of Practice.
