About The Position
Genesis10 is seeking a Data Engineer for a hybrid position with a Major Financial Institution. This role involves working on a Python-based, AWS-native data ingestion platform that handles financial data. The candidate will utilize AWS services such as CDK, Glue, Spark, Lambda, and Flink to transfer data from source systems into a third-party application.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Strong proficiency in AWS (Lambda, ECS, Kinesis, S3, DynamoDB, IAM, CDK)
- Solid Git/CI-CD discipline
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Spark
- Experience with Flink
- Experience with Glue
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain pipeline stages across ingest, validation, tokenization, reformatting, and publishing, backed by rigorous unit and end-to-end testing
- Support E2E/system test phases
- Drive compliance with data-protection standards (HSHD/sensitive-data handling)
- Remediate security findings and vulnerabilities across the codebase and dependencies
