About the position
We are seeking a Data Engineer to join our team and focus on automating and productizing advanced big data transformation and analytics pipelines. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and deploying data analysis pipelines for our clients. This includes understanding the business problem, identifying relevant data sources, defining the technical architecture, and implementing the data ingestion subsystem. We are looking for ambitious individuals who are innovative, empathetic, and team players to help us scale our operations and continue providing valuable analytics solutions.
Responsibilities
- Understand deeply the business problem that we are trying to solve by our analytical solution
- Discover the client's existing data sources that are relevant to the problem we try to solve through continuous consultations with employees of our client
- Define the technical architecture for the analytical solution in collaboration with the client's IT teams
- Implement the data ingestion subsystem responsible for moving all necessary data sources to a single location for analysis
- Implement the data analysis pipelines at various clients of Lynx Analytics
Requirements
- Strong experience in implementing and deploying data analysis pipelines
- Deep understanding of business problems and ability to translate them into analytical solutions
- Excellent communication and consultation skills to collaborate with clients and gather relevant data sources
- Proficiency in working with big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark
- Familiarity with proprietary big graph analysis frameworks
- Ability to define technical architectures for analytical solutions
- Expertise in implementing data ingestion subsystems for data movement and consolidation
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
