Senior Data Engineer

As a Senior Data Engineer at Lynx Analytics, your main responsibility will be to automate and productize advanced big data transformation and analytics pipelines. You will work with standard big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark, as well as Lynx Analytics' proprietary big graph analysis framework. Your role will involve implementing and deploying data analysis pipelines for various clients, understanding their business problems, discovering relevant data sources, defining technical architectures, implementing data ingestion subsystems, and integrating the results into business UIs. • Understand deeply the business problem that we are trying to solve by our analytical solution
• Discover the client's existing data sources that are relevant to the problem we try to solve through continuous consultations with employees of our client
• Define the technical architecture for the analytical solution in collaboration with the client's IT teams
• Implement the data ingestion subsystem responsible for moving all necessary data sources to a single location for analysis
• Implement the data analysis pipelines
• Integrate the results into business UIs developed by Lynx or pre-existing client software systems

• Deep understanding of business problems and ability to translate them into analytical solutions
• Strong communication and consultation skills to gather relevant data sources from clients
• Experience in defining technical architecture for analytical solutions
• Proficiency in implementing data ingestion subsystems
• Expertise in developing and implementing data analysis pipelines
• Ability to integrate analysis results into business UIs or existing client software systems
• Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark
• Knowledge of Lynx Analytics' proprietary big graph analysis framework is a plus
