Senior Data Engineer

As a Senior Data Engineer at Lynx Analytics, your role will involve automating and productizing advanced big data transformation and analytics pipelines. You will work with standard big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark, as well as the company's proprietary big graph analysis framework. Your key responsibilities will include understanding the business problem at hand, collaborating with clients to identify relevant data sources, defining the technical architecture for the analytical solution, implementing the data ingestion subsystem, and developing data analysis pipelines. • Understand deeply the business problem that we are trying to solve by our analytical solution
• Discover the client's existing data sources that are relevant to the problem we try to solve through continuous consultations with employees of our client
• Define the technical architecture for the analytical solution that we are to deploy for the client, working together with the IT teams of the client
• Implement the data ingestion subsystem responsible for moving all the necessary data sources to a single location where the actual analysis will happen
• Implement the data analysis pipelines

• Strong experience in implementing and deploying data analysis pipelines
• Deep understanding of business problems and ability to translate them into analytical solutions
• Ability to collaborate and consult with clients to identify relevant data sources
• Proficiency in defining technical architectures for analytical solutions
• Expertise in implementing data ingestion subsystems
• Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark
• Knowledge of proprietary big graph analysis frameworks
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
