We're looking for someone who loves building, who is curious and isn't afraid to dive into code they don't know yet. This role is focused on building connectors and integrations, not on business analysis or data visualization. You'll learn our AWS infrastructure, write code published through a rigorous Git workflow with GitLab, and build the technical bridges that connect our clients' systems to our platform. Roughly 20% of the role involves talking directly with our clients' technical teams to understand their systems and integrate new connectors. This isn't a sales or business consulting role, it's a development role with a client component. This role is posted as Data Developer, with the internal title of Spécialiste Données, volet Technique. This is a permanent full time hybrid position, minimum 2 days per week in the office. This role is for you if you're coming out of school or your first development experience, you're curious and comfortable talking with clients. If you're looking for a purely business analysis or data visualization role, this isn't that role.

Requirements

Background in software engineering, computer science or equivalent, university or CEGEP, strong personal projects welcome if your path is less traditional
Strong curiosity for development and eagerness to learn new stacks
Comfort with at least one back end programming language
Networking fundamentals, or a fast willingness to learn them
Comfort talking with clients or external technical teams
Bilingual FR/EN communication

Nice To Haves

Experience, even brief, at a dev shop or on a client mandate, internship or first job
Basic knowledge of AWS or another cloud environment
Exposure to Git and a code review process
Interest in data or applied generative AI
You enjoy learning with support and grow quickly with mentorship

Responsibilities

Build and maintain connectors and adapters to integrate our clients' systems with the BEEM platform
Write clean, tested code published through a rigorous Git workflow with GitLab
Work with our AWS infrastructure, we'll train you if it's new to you
Understand the networking fundamentals needed to securely connect remote systems
Contribute to the evolution of the BEEM platform as client needs evolve
Speak directly with our clients' technical teams to understand their existing systems
Document integrations and technical decisions made throughout a mandate
Collaborate with the ADS delivery team to make sure connectors meet real needs
