About The Position

This position is responsible for assisting the supervisor with product flow, process efficiency, and product quality while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. This facility operates six days a week and produces sausage crumbles and dry sausage. The starting base rate of pay is $21.05 per hour, with an additional $1.10 per hour shift differential for 2nd shift position placement.

Requirements

Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Must be willing and able to lift up to 10 pounds.
The Team Member will push/pull loaded bins with hand jack.
The Team Member will work in a cold and damp or dry environment.
The Team Member will perform repetitive motions, reaching above shoulders, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, climbing, standing, and walking.
Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 180 days and are limited to 3 times of employment.

Responsibilities

Monitoring the audits done in the slicing room.
Conduct timely checks for metal detection, collect samples, label verification and other varying audits as needed within the Slicing Department as deemed necessary by management.
Ensure the process is followed in compliance with product processing procedures and regulations.
Follow all Safety and Food Safety Procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
