About The Position

The position offers competitive pay and great benefits, with pay leveling determined during the interview based on skillset, knowledge, and experience. A $5000 sign-on bonus is offered for new hires, paid out in two installments after 90 and 180 days of employment. Rehires are not eligible for the bonus. This role involves a 6:00pm to 6:00am rotating schedule and is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while ensuring a safe work environment and adherence to Tyson policies and procedures.

Requirements

Applied mechanical ability documented in the work history section of the application or be a graduate of an industrial maintenance training program
1 year industrial maintenance experience and/or industrial maintenance education combined

Responsibilities

Troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets
Maintaining a safe work environment
Adhering to Tyson policies and procedures
Perform duties such as welding, cutting, electrical repair and troubleshooting, removing, replacement of motor shafts, couplings, pumps, augers, water pipes, valves, lines, and systems
Read and understand assignments
Communicate orally and in writing
Use basic knowledge of math
Use various electrical and pneumatic power tools and equipment
Read drawings and schematics of hydraulic and basic electrical systems
Complete all required training for the job
