Team members interested in transferring into this position from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner. Role Overview: This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. In this role you will: Perform maintenance of wastewater collection system of wastewater pre-treatment system. Read and follow instructions and complete required paperwork. Wear necessary safety equipment. Work with hazardous chemicals. Complete all required training for the job. Communicate effectively to all levels of team member including management. Work with low supervision. Learn to load and unload oil trucks. Perform all other duties assigned. Wastewater experience preferred. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. Must be able and willing to lift and carry 50 pounds or more. Team Member will regularly be required to stand, stoop, bend, climb ladders, change work levels, twist, squat, climb stairs, reach, push, pull, and move about the facility, and occasionally work in unsanitary conditions. Team Member will work in a cold, damp, to hot environment. ALL Team Members are encouraged to dress appropriately before they arrive at their work area. Have a good work record (Disciplines: no written in the last 6 months, no written w/suspension in the last 12 months). Have good attendance (4 points or below). Must have completed the 90-day probationary period.
