About The Position
The Data Collection Specialist collects, reviews, and enters court records related to sex and violent offender registration. The role requires accuracy, confidentiality, legal document analysis, and coordination with law enforcement agencies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to handle confidential information and build effective working relationships.
- Strong research, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to accurately review detailed and sensitive criminal case information.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Familiarity with criminal history records, probable cause affidavits, conviction and sentencing documents, presentence investigation reports, and court orders.
- Research experience.
- Knowledge of the Indiana Criminal Code and criminal justice system.
Responsibilities
