Data Center Technician (Early Talent)

This role is a shift-based position and provides an opportunity to become a full-time Nebius L1 IT Technician.
Requirements
- Enrollment in or recent graduation from an accredited college, university, or technical school with a focus on Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Be at least 18 years old by the internship start date.
- Be eligible to work in the country where the position is located, without requiring sponsorship.
- A demonstrated strong interest and foundational knowledge in IT data center operations, networking, hardware, and software.
- The ability to comply with all safety, security, and confidentiality policies of the IT data center.
- Availability to commit to the full internship duration (minimum of 8 weeks, full-time).
Responsibilities
- Learn to support data center IT infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues.
- Perform physical hardware repairs.
- Ensure the smooth operation of critical systems.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to IT hardware, while ensuring continuous support of the data center’s IT infrastructure.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external contractors to address technical and operational challenges.
- Install, upgrade, and dismantle hardware based on operational requests and requirements.
- Manage and maintain the connectivity of fiber optic cables and patch cords.
- Plan, execute, and monitor regular IT tasks to maintain and improve infrastructure operations.
- Process Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs) in compliance with established manuals and procedures.
- Develop clear and comprehensive documentation and manuals for hardware configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams.
