This role is a shift-based position and provides an opportunity to become a full-time Nebius L1 IT Technician.

Requirements

  • Enrollment in or recent graduation from an accredited college, university, or technical school with a focus on Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Be at least 18 years old by the internship start date.
  • Be eligible to work in the country where the position is located, without requiring sponsorship.
  • A demonstrated strong interest and foundational knowledge in IT data center operations, networking, hardware, and software.
  • The ability to comply with all safety, security, and confidentiality policies of the IT data center.
  • Availability to commit to the full internship duration (minimum of 8 weeks, full-time).

Responsibilities

  • Learn to support data center IT infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues.
  • Perform physical hardware repairs.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of critical systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to IT hardware, while ensuring continuous support of the data center’s IT infrastructure.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external contractors to address technical and operational challenges.
  • Install, upgrade, and dismantle hardware based on operational requests and requirements.
  • Manage and maintain the connectivity of fiber optic cables and patch cords.
  • Plan, execute, and monitor regular IT tasks to maintain and improve infrastructure operations.
  • Process Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs) in compliance with established manuals and procedures.
  • Develop clear and comprehensive documentation and manuals for hardware configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams.
