About The Position

AECOM is seeking Data Center Quality Assurance Inspectors nationally. This position can be remote. Job responsibilities include and are not limited to the following: Inspect building systems, including mechanical and electrical, for compliance with contract requirements and industry standards. Review contractor shop drawings and submittals to confirm alignment with project specifications. Monitor the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical and mechanical systems, confirming proper functionality and performance. Identify and report non-conformances, coordinating with contractors and engineers to implement corrective actions. Maintain detailed inspection reports, logs, and records for quality control and compliance tracking. Oversee corrective actions for unacceptable construction work and support final inspections, punch lists, and project closeouts. Witness and document critical tests, such as pressure tests, leak tests, and system start-ups. Verify the quality of materials, workmanship, and equipment installations to confirm adherence to project specifications. Work closely with contractors, engineers, and other inspectors to resolve issues. Maintain professionalism in attire and communication during all time on site and in meetings. Represent the Client in alignment with contract requirements and project deliverables. Coordinate client Outage / Shutdown Procedure. Coordinate GC Workplan and advise if the construction contractor fails to promptly remove, correct, or replace unacceptable construction work, and assess any delays caused by such failure.

Requirements

  • BA/BS + four years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Nice To Haves

  • 7 years of experience with construction and/or quality management.
  • CQM or other professional certifications.
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or architecture.
