AECOM is seeking Data Center Quality Assurance Inspectors nationally. This position can be remote. The role involves inspecting building systems, including mechanical and electrical, for compliance with contract requirements and industry standards. Responsibilities include reviewing contractor shop drawings and submittals, monitoring the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical and mechanical systems, and identifying and reporting non-conformances. The inspector will coordinate with contractors and engineers to implement corrective actions, maintain detailed inspection reports, and oversee corrective actions for unacceptable construction work. They will also support final inspections, punch lists, and project closeouts, witness and document critical tests, and verify the quality of materials, workmanship, and equipment installations. The role requires close collaboration with contractors, engineers, and other inspectors to resolve issues, maintaining professionalism in all interactions, and representing the Client in alignment with contract requirements. Additionally, the inspector will coordinate client outages/shutdown procedures and advise on construction contractor failures to promptly remove, correct, or replace unacceptable work, assessing any resulting delays.
