About The Position

We are seeking Cable Pullers to support a large-scale Hi-Fiber infrastructure upgrade project, focused on replacing legacy coax cabling with modern fiber systems in data center environments nationwide. Cable Pullers will travel to data centers across the U.S. to assist with structured cabling and fiber installation efforts. When not assigned to a traveling project, technicians will work within data centers located in their home market. Travel assignments typically last up to two weeks at a time, after which technicians return home. All travel arrangements are coordinated by the employer, and approved out-of-pocket expenses are reimbursed.

Requirements

• Data center cabling experience
• Cable pulling, routing, and replacement
• Familiarity with fiber and copper cabling
• Ability to follow technical instructions and site procedures
• Basic troubleshooting awareness related to cabling issues
• Flexibility to travel nationwide as project demands change
• Ability to work extended shifts, including nights or weekends if required
• Comfortable working in data center environments (ladders, raised floors, confined spaces)
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and grow within large-scale infrastructure projects

Nice To Haves

• Some prior data center or structured cabling experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Pull, route, and dress fiber and copper cabling in data center environments
• Remove and replace legacy coax cabling as part of fiber upgrade projects
• Assist with cable organization, labeling, and pathway management
• Follow cabling standards, safety procedures, and site-specific requirements
• Support tenured technicians and project leads during installation activities
• Maintain clean and organized work areas within data halls
• Identify and report basic cabling issues or obstructions to project leads
• Work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced data center settings
