About The Position

This is an entry-level position for Data Center Cable Technicians, offering paid training and no prior experience required. The role supports the build-out of a large-scale data center campus. Successful candidates will receive hands-on training from experienced technicians and learn skills applicable to long-term careers in telecommunications, data centers, and IT infrastructure. This role is ideal for individuals with backgrounds in construction, trades, warehouse work, or military service, as well as anyone looking to enter the tech field without a desk job.

Responsibilities

• Installing cable trays, ladder rack, and basic support systems
• Building and organizing server racks
• Pulling cable and fiber through large data hall spaces
• Learning how to terminate and punch down cabling
• Routing and dressing cables using J-hooks, D-rings, fish tape
• Assisting with grounding, fire-stopping, and low-voltage work
• Reading basic drawings and following instructions
• Helping and learning from team leads
