About the position
NOCD is seeking a Data Engineer to build data models and implement data pipelines to support their modern clinical health record system. The ideal candidate should be proficient in SQL and Python, have a degree in a quantitative discipline, and be familiar with modern data stacks. Responsibilities
- Build data models to support the clinical health record system and help clinicians improve through modeling and BI tools
- Implement data pipelines for research publications and treatment outcome evaluations
- Leverage data to understand marketing attribution and reach potential members
- Proficient in SQL and Python with knowledge of window functions, CTE, and analytical concepts
- Familiar with modern data stack including Fivetran, dbt, BigQuery, Metabase, Connected Sheets, and Narrator
- Degree in a quantitative discipline or equivalent experience
- Comfortable learning new tools and technologies
- Passionate about the company's mission and empathetic towards members
- Clear communicator
- Production working experience with DBT and Bigquery
- Understanding of at least one BI Tool: Tableau, Looker, Metabase, Periscope Data, etc
- Cursory understanding of Star Schema / Kimball modeling (Fact / Dimensions / Marts)
Requirements
- Production working experience with DBT (or another orchestrator like airflow) and Bigquery (or snowflake or redshift)
- Understanding of at least one BI Tool: Tableau, Looker, Metabase, Periscope Data, etc
- Cursory understanding of Star Schema / Kimball modeling (Fact / Dimensions / Marts)
