Data Analyst - W2 Role -
About The Position
This is a long-term, 100% remote W2 role for a Senior Data Analyst with strong US healthcare knowledge. The role involves gathering business requirements for ETL data processing for data warehousing applications, analyzing areas like medical claims and eligibility, and utilizing strong SQL knowledge, data modeling, Databricks, and Snowflake environments. The analyst will query data sources for gap/impact analyses, define data profiling and transformation rules, create source-to-target mappings and functional specifications, and participate in all phases of the SDLC, including QA and UAT. The position also requires driving business process reengineering efforts, meeting facilitation, and issue resolution.
Requirements
- Strong US healthcare knowledge including analysis of areas like medical claims and eligibility
- Strong communication skills, ability to work independently and drive results
- Strong SQL knowledge
- Data modeling
- Databricks and Snowflake environment usage
- 7+ years of data analysis, data warehouse and US healthcare knowledge
Responsibilities
- Gathering business requirements for ETL data processing for data warehousing applications
- Query data sources to perform gap/impact analyses between source and target systems
- Define and maintain rules for data profiling and data transformation logic
- Create source to target mappings and functional specifications for development team by gathering requirements from business stakeholders
- Participate in different phases of the SDLC, including QA and UAT
- Drive business process reengineering efforts, meeting facilitation and issue resolution
