Data Analyst Intern- Summer 2027
About The Position
The Data Analyst Intern will work closely with Stifel’s data analysis team to support data-driven projects and initiatives. The role collaborates with business users, product managers, and development teams to analyze, document, and refine data processes while gaining hands-on experience in data extraction, reporting, and analysis. The intern conducts SQL-based data extraction and analysis, creates reports, responds to ad-hoc data requests, documents data requirements, performs quality checks, and supports data accuracy and decision-making. The role also involves researching best practices, contributing to process improvements, and helping clarify data requirements to support data-driven solutions.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Business, or a related field, with at least one year of college completed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and SQL.
- Strong problem-solving skills, including logical reasoning, understanding data relationships, and documentation.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with Python, AWS, or similar tools.
