The Data Analyst II oversees data integrity, security, and efforts to enhance the value of data. The role may direct data movement across multiple systems, oversee data validation and organization, and ensure data is available to appropriate people and systems. The analyst also develops and executes reports that support the practice as it develops and evaluates a new model of care. The Department of Population Health Science and Policy seeks a Data Analyst II for projects involving maternal health policy and equity, pregnancy-related influences on lifecourse cardiometabolic disease, school-level influences on adolescent preconception health, economic evaluation, and health services research. The analyst will be an integral member of research teams and collaborate with study investigators—including epidemiologists, health economists, and OBGYNs—and other research team members on maternal health disparities and inequities. This is a one-year position with an opportunity for longer-term renewal. Mentorship and professional development opportunities are available for Data Analysts. The ideal candidate is motivated and responsible, communicates effectively, is organized and detail-oriented, combines initiative with responsiveness to supervision, is comfortable asking questions and eager to learn, and can adapt as new tasks arise.
