The Department of Population Health Science and Policy is seeking a Data Analyst II to support projects involving maternal health policy and equity, pregnancy-related influences on lifecourse cardiometabolic disease, school-level influences on adolescent preconception health, economic evaluation, and health services research. The analyst will be an integral member of research teams and collaborate with investigators—including epidemiologists, health economists, and OBGYNs—and other research team members on maternal health disparities and inequities. The role oversees data integrity, security, and efforts to enhance the value of data. It may involve directing data movement across systems, overseeing data validation and organization, and ensuring data is available to appropriate people and systems. The analyst will develop and execute reports that support the practice as it develops and evaluates a new model of care. This is a one-year position with an opportunity for longer-term renewal. Mentorship and professional development opportunities are available. The ideal candidate is motivated, responsible, communicative, organized, detail-oriented, receptive to supervision, comfortable asking questions, eager to learn, and flexible as tasks change.
