This position involves fluency in all dark meat debone production work on a rotation basis, including jobs such as hanger, trimmers, styler, bone trimmer, box liner, scale operator, CVP operator, labeler, and stackers. The role requires performing these positions in the dark meat department and participating as a member of the team. This includes contributing to the development, communication, and implementation of team concepts, programs, and policies, coordinating work for best practices, and attending team meetings. The individual will foster team cohesiveness, accept responsibility for identifying areas lacking cohesion, and work with the team leader and members to resolve issues and achieve synergy. The position also requires familiarity with Simmons' operating systems (quality, security, office environment, company policies, LEAN) and understanding the responsibility to maintain this familiarity, recognizing the impact of individual actions, and communicating concerns and improvement ideas. Other duties may be assigned to support business objectives.
