About The Position
The part-time Dance Instructor will teach youth classes at the Wolf Creek YMCA, providing quality dance instruction to participants of all skill levels in a lively, safe, and welcoming environment. The instructor will encourage creativity, build confidence, and foster a love of dance while helping create a positive community experience. Dance styles sought include ballet, tap, and hip hop; other interests may include cheer, musical theater, and basic tumbling.
Requirements
- Must be a minimum of 18 years old.
- Strong foundation in one or more dance styles, including ballet, tap, jazz, and/or hip hop.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to teach creatively while maintaining a safe environment.
Nice To Haves
- Interest or experience in cheer, musical theater, or basic tumbling.
