About The Position

The Part Time Dairy Merchandiser restocks merchandise displays in retail stores and supports dairy department operations across an assigned territory. The role replenishes and rotates merchandise using FIFO, communicates with department managers about out-of-stock situations and new items, and helps maintain clean, attractive displays. It also includes transporting and installing freezers at customer locations using a non-CDL company vehicle, traveling between stores using a personal vehicle, participating in meetings, and training Dairy Managers in proper ordering techniques. Regular and reliable attendance is required.

Requirements

Ability to understand and appropriately respond to policies, procedures, instructions, rules, and regulations associated with the position, including safety information, in English.
Ability to provide reports, presentations, information, or communications in English when needed.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
One to three months of related experience and/or training preferred.

Responsibilities

Examine merchandise displays and identify items that need replenishment.
Retrieve back-stock from storage and refill displays, rotating stock using the FIFO system.
Work with department managers at store locations to resolve out-of-stock situations and incorporate new items.
Complete Equipment Move Order paperwork; load a freezer onto a truck or trailer, drive a non-CDL company vehicle to deliver it, and plug it in at the designated customer location.
Stock storage areas and displays with new or transferred merchandise.
Participate in store displays and resets.
Set up advertising signs and merchandise displays on shelves, counters, or tables to attract customers and promote sales.
Travel between stores in the assigned territory or to other requested locations using a personal vehicle.
Attend and participate in routine or other meetings at the Dairy facility or other sites as required.
Clean display cases, shelves, and aisles.
Train Dairy Managers in proper ordering techniques.
Map and manage a route within the assigned territory.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
Perform other duties as required.
