About The Position

This part-time position is for a student who attends Grand Canyon University. The Dairy Merchandiser replenishes and maintains merchandise displays in retail stores, manages stock and routes between store locations, and supports store departments with merchandising and ordering needs. The role also involves delivering and installing freezers using a non-CDL company vehicle, attending meetings, and maintaining reliable attendance. Requirements

Must be a student attending Grand Canyon University.
Able to understand policies, procedures, instructions, rules, regulations, safety training, and safety information written in English.
Able to appropriately respond to English-language instructions and, where needed, provide reports, presentations, information, or communications in English.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
One to three months of related experience and/or training preferred.

Responsibilities

Examine merchandise displays to identify items that need replenishment.
Retrieve back-stock from storage to refill displays and rotate stock using the FIFO system.
Work with department managers at store locations to explain or resolve out-of-stock situations and incorporate new items.
Complete Equipment Move Order paperwork; load a freezer onto a truck or trailer; drive a non-CDL company vehicle to deliver it; and plug it in at the designated customer location.
Stock storage areas and displays with new or transferred merchandise.
Participate in store displays and resets.
Set up advertising signs and merchandise displays on shelves, counters, or tables to attract customers and promote sales.
Travel between store locations in the assigned territory or to other requested locations using a personal vehicle.
Attend and participate in routine or other meetings at the Dairy facility or other sites as required.
Clean display cases, shelves, and aisles.
Train Dairy Managers in proper ordering techniques.
Map and manage a route.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
Perform other duties as required.
