About The Position

The Dairy Merchandiser restocks merchandise displays in retail stores and helps maintain product availability, presentation, and inventory rotation. The role works with store department managers to address out-of-stock situations and introduce new items, participates in displays and resets, and trains Dairy Managers in proper ordering techniques. The position also involves moving and delivering freezers, maintaining storage and display areas, and traveling between store locations in an assigned territory. Regular and reliable attendance is expected, along with other duties as required. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED (preferred) and one to three months of related experience or training (preferred). The successful candidate must be able to understand and appropriately respond to policies, procedures, instructions, rules, regulations, and safety information written in English, and provide reports, presentations, information, or communications in English when needed. Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred.
One to three months of related experience and/or training preferred.
Ability to understand policies, procedures, instructions, rules, regulations, and safety information associated with the position that are written in English.
Ability to appropriately respond to those materials and, where needed, provide reports, presentations, information, or communications in English.
Ability to travel between store locations using a personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

Examine merchandise displays to identify items that need replenishment.
Pull back-stock from storage to refill displays, rotating merchandise using the FIFO system.
Work with department managers at store locations to explain or resolve out-of-stock situations and incorporate new items.
Complete Equipment Move Order paperwork; load a freezer onto a truck or trailer, drive a non-CDL company vehicle to deliver it, and plug it in at the designated customer location.
Stock storage areas and displays with new or transferred merchandise.
Participate in store displays and resets.
Set up advertising signs and merchandise displays on shelves, counters, or tables to attract customers and promote sales.
Travel between store locations in the assigned territory, or to other locations as requested, using a personal vehicle.
Attend and participate in routine or other meetings at the Dairy facility or other sites, as required.
Clean display cases, shelves, and aisles.
Train Dairy Managers in proper ordering techniques.
Map and manage a route within the assigned territory.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
Perform other duties as required.
