About The Position

The Cycle Counter is responsible for the day-to-day warehouse inventory monitoring to ensure that inventory counts are current and accurate. The Cycle Counter is also expected to have mechanical knowledge and skills to operate a lift truck in a safe and professional manner under all conditions. When utilizing the Lift Trucks, the person in this role is expected to maneuver the forklift at a reasonable and prudent speed, looking closely for pedestrians or other motorized vehicles as well as fine manipulation with a respect to the preservation of product, building structure and property. This position places a strong significance on effective teamwork, clear communication, sound judgment, safety orientation, achieving and maintaining production efficiency and dedication to the quality of our product.

Nice To Haves

  • 1-3 years’ experience in same or similar industry preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain PIT certification
  • Observes all Safety Rules and is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work area.
  • Performs duties of general help and job assignments as required.
  • Correct locations based on cycle counts
  • Investigate and find missing stock
  • Investigation of issues that arise through the cycle count process
  • Ensure materials are in proper locations. Conducts searches in order to locate misclassified inventory
  • Open cartons, bundles, and other containers to count items and/or weigh materials to determine quantity on hand. Weigh and mark product displaying remaining product left
  • Determine causes of mismatched inventory counts
  • Report discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged products to team lead/supervisor/manager as required.
  • Adhere to all Company safety policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Perform other duties as required
