About The Position

ConMet Canton is seeking a Cycle Counter for their Day Shift team. The Cycle Counter will be responsible for performing system-generated cycle counts to verify the accuracy of on-hand quantities against SAP records. Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• One (1) year manufacturing warehouse experience

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of SAP material movements preferred
• Knowledge of material flow within the production facilities

Responsibilities

• Perform cycle counts based on corporate cycle count program within SAP. Use ABC classifications for frequency.
• Perform requested cycle counts based on a requested cycle count sheet turned in.
• Investigate and determine the cause of errors.
• Assign corrective actions based on investigation.
• Make necessary system transactions to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Performance of tasks may require use of material handling experience.
• Make recommendations to management to improve inventory accuracy.
• Maintain cycle count records for auditing purposes.
• Report cycle count findings to management.
• Observe and obey all company rules and regulations. Work safely and without injury.
• Maintain prompt and regular attendance as scheduled
• Other duties may be assigned
