About The Position

The Cycle Counter is responsible for generating and completing daily cycle count lists, verifying counts, and correcting discrepancies between records and physical inventory. This role involves operating various tools and machinery such as forklifts, hand jacks, and cranes, performing daily equipment checks, and using computers for information access and paperwork processing. The individual must be able to work effectively in a team environment, maintain good attendance, ensure safety around moving vehicles, and adhere to company policies and procedures, including working mandatory overtime.

Requirements

1-3 years Inventory or Material Handling experience

Nice To Haves

Previous experience conducting cycle counts and working with an ERP system is highly preferred

Responsibilities

Generate Daily Cycle Count Lists and ensure each are completed and documented
Verify counts performed by others, and correct records
Root Cause and correct discrepancies between records and physical on hand inventory
Operate all types of tools and machines essential and necessary to the job, including, but not limited to: forklifts, hand jacks, tape measures, calculator, computers, loading docks, cranes, scales, data collection equipment, radios and copy machine
Perform daily checks on equipment including fluid levels
Perform other duties that may be assigned by the company
Ability to work and communicate in a team environment
Use computer to access information and process paperwork in a timely manner
Attend scheduled work hours on a regular and timely basis
Maintain good attendance
Ensure the safety of others working in the vicinity of moving vehicles
Ability to work mandatory overtime
Ability to follow company policies and procedures
Perform all assigned tasks in a safe, efficient, timely, accurate and highly productive manner according to company policy
