About The Position

The Cycle Counter III performs cycle counting of inventory and fixed assets to ensure accurate quantities, values, and proper location. This role maintains written procedures and provides training for personnel related to cycle counting, and communicates actual results to the appropriate teams. Requirements

  • Education and/or experience equivalent to a high school diploma.
  • Two (2) years of cycle counting and/or accounting experience.
  • Demonstrated computer skills preferably spreadsheets, word processing, databases, and other applicable software programs.
  • Experience with cycle counting.
  • Inventory management skills.
  • Data entry experience.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees and schedules cycle count activities through various OSP Suppliers.
  • Provides support to multiple departments and teams and other special assignations to improve inventory accuracy.
  • Identifies and communicates cycle count accuracy and trend analysis to the team and leaders.
  • Supports external auditors with cycle count information and reporting requests.
  • Monitors adherence to cycle counting requirements and raw materials transactions procedures when supplying Outside Process (OSP) operations.
  • Reconciles physical count to database to determine if adjustments are necessary.
  • Generates inventory reports.
  • Works with other departments to ensure inventory transactions are done accurately.
  • Performs a variety of other tasks and related work, as required.
