About The Position

This position must handle multiple assignments in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment with frequent direct interaction with the Inventory Control Supervisor. The Cycle Counter position is responsible for proactively maintaining inventory accuracy.

Requirements

High School Degree or equivalent required.
Previous forklift experience required.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong people skills.
Problem solving / root cause analysis.
Basic mathematical skills required.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs as required.
Ability to stand and walk 8 hours a day.
Ability to work in cold storage -10 to 40 degrees as required.

Nice To Haves

Previous inventory experience preferred.
Knowledge of SAP/Oracle preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform daily/weekly cycle count tasks based upon the Supervisor/Manager direction.
Monitoring and controlling inventory integrity based upon company's standards along with Supervisor/Manager.
Maintain product identification, location and lot code accuracy.
Have the ability to research inventory discrepancies with the supervisor/Manager.
Required to open cartons, bundles and any containers to count to determine the quantity on hand.
Report discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged product.
Knowledge of using a RF Scanner for warehouse tasks /mostly cycle counting based tasks.
Forklift experience, mostly Reach Truck and Stock Picker.
Able to perform "Search and Rescue's" on short notice and in a time sensitive matter based on Supervisor/Managers direction.
Knowledge of working on a WMS system, capability of logging into the computer and help research discrepancies, and/or lost product.
