About the position
We are seeking an experienced endpoint systems developer to join our team and contribute to the evolution of our product. As an early contributor, you will have the opportunity to make a substantial impact on the product architecture. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing components of our state-of-the-art system sensor, solving performance optimization problems, building reliable and secure code, and collaborating with a distributed cross-functional team. Responsibilities
- Design and implement components of a system sensor that traces data movement across applications and files on desktop machines
- Solve performance optimization problems to ensure software monitors hundreds of thousands of events while using less than 1% CPU
- Build highly reliable code that does not impact the end-user experience
- Develop secure-by-design hardened software that can withstand real-world attacks and process untrusted data
- Work with low-level system APIs on Windows or macOS, including kernel, security, file system, network, and process APIs
- Work on large native applications deployed to tens of thousands of end-users
- Debug, profile, and optimize the performance of low-level system software
- Experience building endpoint security products, such as DLP or anti-viruses
- Design and implement application architecture
- Collaborate with a distributed cross-functional team using agile development and SCRUM methodologies
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Availability to communicate with a distributed engineering team in European and Eastern US time zones
Requirements
- Strong track record in working low-level system APIs on Windows or macOS (kernel, security, file system, network, process APIs)
- Experience working on at least one large native application deployed to tens of thousands of end-users
- Experience debugging, profiling, and optimizing the performance of low-level system software
- Experience building endpoint security products, such as DLP or anti-viruses
- Proficient in designing and implementing application architecture
- Experience with agile development and SCRUM, and proven ability to collaborate with a distributed cross-functional team
- Verbal and written communication skills in English
- Availability to communicate with a distributed engineering team in European and Eastern US time zone
