About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Cyber Workforce/Training Coordinator to join our team in the greater DMV area, supporting the Army National Guard.

Requirements

  • 5 years with BS/BA, 3 years with MS/MA, 0 years with PhD
  • Clearance: TS/SCI (active)
  • Education/Certification: Master’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Workforce Development OR SPHR OR CISSP (candidate must meet one of these)
  • Experience: Managing workforce development, training operations, or certification programs—preferably within DoD or government cyber organizations.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with DoD 8140/8570, NICE Framework, role-based training, learning management systems (LMS), and certification lifecycle management.
  • Skills: Strong program coordination, reporting/dashboarding, stakeholder engagement, curriculum development, vendor management, and briefing skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior DoD/Army/ARNG cyber workforce experience
  • Experience with LMS platforms (e.g., Skillsoft, Cornerstone), training analytics, and budget management
  • Knowledge of cyber mission sets, red/blue team training, and continuous learning program design

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and execute workforce training strategy and annual training plans aligned to DoD 8140/8570 and NICE.
  • Manage certification tracking, training records, and compliance reporting for operational teams; maintain training database and dashboards.
  • Coordinate onboarding, role-based training, continuing education, and recertification pathways across functions.
  • Assess skill gaps with technical leads, recommend training investments, and manage vendor/contractor training engagements.
  • Establish metrics, SLAs, and reporting cadence to communicate workforce readiness and compliance posture to leadership.
  • Design, schedule, and support delivery of training events, exercises, and table-top sessions; develop curriculum and training materials as needed.
  • Oversee budget tracking for training activities, course enrollments, and training vendor performance.
  • Ensure training and workforce processes comply with DoD policy and support accreditation/inspectorate requirements.
  • Mentor/train staff on career progression, certification pathways, and professional development.
