About The Position

Act as a primary point of contact for Spanish-speaking candidates, providing support with applications, interview coordination, and onboarding activities within Workday, while ensuring clear and professional communication in both English and Spanish. Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Assist with new-hire onboarding by ensuring all required Workday tasks are completed accurately and within required timeframes. Collect, review, and verify new-hire documentation, including Form I-9, in compliance with federal requirements. Upload and maintain candidate and new-hire documentation, ensuring accuracy, organization, and confidentiality into the shared drive. Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (Workday). Provide administrative support to the Workforce Development and Human Resources teams as needed. Occasional travel may be required to support job sites, job fairs, hiring events, orientations, and workforce development initiatives, including outreach to Spanish-speaking communities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in recruiting support or human resources support
  • Emphasis on a field-based or skilled-trades workforce, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (verbal and written) strongly preferred to effectively support candidates and employees
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with candidates, field leadership, and internal teams
  • Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Workday or other applicant tracking systems preferred
