As a Fusion Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO), you will directly support the nation’s Intelligence Community and work alongside mission-focused professionals committed to protecting critical information systems.

Requirements

• Current TS/SCI clearance with at least a CI polygraph
• A minimum of eight (8) years of security engineering experience.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or IT Engineering is required
• Certification at DoD 8570 IAM Level I as identified in the position requirements.

Nice To Haves

• An additional four (4) years of cybersecurity-related experience may substitute for the degree requirement.

Responsibilities

• Developing and updating System Security Plans (SSPs), managing and controlling system changes, and assessing the security impact of those changes.
• Supporting the planning, coordination, and implementation of IT security programs and policies.
• Providing configuration management for security-relevant information system software, hardware, and firmware.
• Support Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities, including security control implementation, assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring.
• Identify, document, and track system vulnerabilities and security findings, including remediation activities and Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms).
• Conduct periodic security reviews and compliance assessments to ensure systems remain aligned with applicable Federal and Government security requirements.
• Monitor system security posture and coordinate the investigation, documentation, and reporting of security incidents in accordance with established procedures.
• Collaborate with system owners, engineers, cybersecurity personnel, and Government stakeholders to integrate security requirements throughout the system development life cycle.
