About The Position
This position is for a CVOR Technologist in Wichita, KS. The unit has 2 heart rooms with a possible 3rd. Staffing includes 4 RNs and 3 CSTs. The Day Shift has 1 CVOR RN and 1 CVOR CST. The Night Shift is on-call only. The patient ratio is 1:1. The type of equipment used is EMR – Meditech / CPN.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of current CVOR Tech hospital experience
- BLS certification
- NBSTA Certification
- Current active licensure in Kansas
- Must be vascular trained
Nice To Haves
- ACLS certification
- Experience in Open Heart and Cardiovascular procedures
- Prior Meditech experience
Responsibilities
- Assist in Open Heart and Cardiovascular procedures.
- Operate EMR – Meditech / CPN.
- Participate in on-call rotation (1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend per month).
- Work within a newly restarting ECMO program.
