About The Position

NurseAmerica is seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room Technician (CVOR Tech) for a 12-week travel assignment in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The role is suited to an experienced CVOR professional with Level I trauma experience, recent travel experience, and the ability to support a variety of complex surgical cases.

Schedule options are either four 10-hour shifts (40 hours per week) or three 12-hour shifts (36 hours per week). The schedule includes rotating days, evenings, and nights. Call and weekend availability are required.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of CVOR experience; 3 years preferred.
• Level I Trauma experience, including at least 1 year within the last 3 years.
• At least 1 year of recent travel experience.
• Experience with cardiac robotics, LVADs, and heart transplants.
• Ability to support General Surgery, Orthopedics, Neurology, Vascular Surgery, and Trauma cases.
• CVOR scrubbing experience is not required.

Nice To Haves

• 3 years of CVOR experience.
• NCCT or NBSTSA certification.
