About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Operating Room Technologist (CVOR Tech) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in open heart procedures and be prepared to play a vital role in our surgical team. This position is in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) unit, which includes 6 Operating Rooms and 1 Hybrid Room. Typical cases range from 20-30 per day, including 1-2 open heart cases or up to 4 TAVR. Common procedures include CABG, Aortic Valve, Mitral Valve, and TAVR. The role requires scrubbing for CVOR Techs. Charge nurse and specialty leads are available as resources, and a house supervisor is present during off-hours. The institution provides scrubs, and the EMR system used is Cerner.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a CVOR setting
• At least 1 year focusing on open heart procedures
• BLS Certification
